FMC Accounting does the routine stuff like preparing financial statements, income tax returns, business activity statements, instalment activity statements, and acting as tax agents.

We don't necessarily do your accounts. We're happy to work with yours. If you need help we can analyse what you should be doing, and match a bookkeeping service to your needs. If you need help with computers and IT services, again we can help you outsource.

FMC also does the interesting things like helping with loan applications, talking to banks, preparing business plans, helping to start a business, assist in buying a business, and assist in selling or closing a business. Sometimes we talk people out of entering a new business - saves a lot of heartache in the long run. The point is we'll give it to you straight, good news or bad.

We're not valuers, real estate agents, liquidators, or money lenders, but we can tell you when you'll need to go to these folk, and make introductions.

We're not financial planners. But the good news is that we're independent and know quite a few.

We don't give legal advice. But we can sniff out a legal issue from an accounting issue, then point you in the right direction.

We are definitely not auditors but again can introduce you to this endangered species!
